Structural Analysis

In today's design processes, the Finite Element Method (FEM) is largely a routine tool for the prediction of structural loads and stresses. Our philosophy is that numerical structural analysis becomes particularly valuable when combined with fluid dynamics and heat transfer simulations. For example, CFD simulations can be used to obtain aerodynamic forces or heat loads on a component, e.g. in the form of local distributions, which may then serve as detailed boundary conditions for the structural anaylsis.
